Rehearsing for the Big Day

Since last Friday was a cold, rainy, gray day, both Tammy and I felt like Panera Bread was in order for lunch. The broccoli cheddar soup hit the spot! Then we met the rest of the girls at the nail spa for manicures before heading to the church for the rehearsal.

Stephanie had asked Silas to be the ring bearer, so I was a little nervous, wondering how he would do. She was brave to ask a one year old to be in her wedding! Thankfully, the flower girl, Jordan, is very good with little kids, so she was the perfect helper for Silas. The first time Jordan began dropping the flower petals, Silas said, “Uh-oh!” and promptly started picking up all the petals. He practiced going up and down the aisle several times. Once he practically ran down, but in the end, the practice try was passable for the wedding. After the rehearsal Jordan asked Silas, “Are you ready to go get some sleep for our big day together tomorrow?” Too cute!
