We escaped the triple digit temps of the Valley on Labor Day during our quick overnight trip to Prescott. We didn’t do much–swam in the hotel pool, snuggled with Clifford while watching Toy Story 3, went to bed late due to all three of us sharing one room, ate an enormous, delicious, continental breakfast, visited a few parks, walked in the grass, soaked in the out-of-doors, tried a local pizzeria for lunch, and then headed back to the heat. 

Quick escape, but necessary!
