E-Mealz

Our new subscription to E-Mealz has been so convenient! For just $5 a month we get a 5 day menu each week for two people, made especially for items at Wal-mart. The menu comes with a detailed grocery list organized according to section in the grocery store. It also includes the brand (when applicable) and the price for each item so you are sure to purchase the one that’s the best deal. Saves me so much time!

E-mealz also offers menu plans for families of 4-6 for seven days. Other store choices are offered–including Kroger, Publix, Aldi, or any store. They capitalize on using sale items and recipes that use basic ingredients. Yay! I can’t stand recipes with a forever long list of new spices I have to buy.

Right now Stephen and I are rating each of the meals we make. One of our favorites is Chicken Tender Fettucine Alfredo. It’s so easy! Dip the chicken tenders in egg, then roll them in grated parmesan, Italian bread crumbs and garlic salt and fry them. Add alfredo sauce to the fettucine, and then top the pasta with the fried chicken. What a yummy dish for company!

If you’re interested in trying it out, check out their sample menus and give it a try!

  1. I’ll have to try that. I’m sure it would be faster too when making it for company since I have only one frying pan available right now. 🙂
