A Little Leprechaun Came to Stay

He showed up in the wee hours o’ the mornin’ for Mommy’s holiday birthday. St. Patty’s Day began with a family breakfast at Denny’s, and the Leprechaun slept through the yummy eggs, pancakes, and bacon. Yes, we wore our green.

Leprechauns can be quite good at Irish jigs. Here is Silas’s rendition for you to enjoy!

Originally, I wasn’t sure what the little Leprechaun would wear to celebrate my birthday, but our friend Becky bought him this adorable onesie just in the nick o’ time. Love it!

After so many, many birthday wishes from friends via cards, phone calls, texts, and Facebook messages, we’re headed out for a birthday dinner, walk in the park, and maybe some shopping to boot!

May the road rise up to meet you, may the wind be ever at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face and the rain fall softly on your fields. And until we meet again, May God hold you in the hollow of his hand.

  1. You have been forever blessed with little Silas. Love, love, love the Irish jig video. Happy Birthday sweet Elisabeth! We love you (even tho’ we are REALLY bad at sending timely birthday cards!!)

  2. I agree with Linda…the Mankas need internet!! 🙂

Hope your day was spectacular and I really need to find a plane ticket to Arizona to meet your little leprechaun!!!
