Milestones are important because they mark the path of our lives, but better yet, they cause us to pause a minute to reflect on the past. Sunday we marked the 2nd anniversary of Crossroad Baptist Church. It was refreshing to look back on what God has done in growing His church in Verrado, AZ. Just this past year we’ve seen the beginning of our youth group, the first deacons elected and installed, the first church officers elected, several children, teens and adults place their trust in Christ for salvation, and many more blessings along the way.

Our hearts were encouraged by a message from Dr. David Shumate, director of Mission Gospel Ministries International. His text was Deuteronomy 6:4-9 from which he emphasized the need to 1) Learn of our great God 2) Love our great God and 3) Live for our great God.

Afterward we celebrated with dinner, cake, praises and testimonies! What a great day spent thanking God for His work in us.
