Thanks to Stephen, the kids will soon have the coolest clubhouse to play in…right in their own backyard.

We had talked about this treehouse for a while, but I didn’t realize it was going to be quite so epic! After this, we can move the boys out there and charge them rent!

When Mom and Dad Moody flew Brynn back home, they stayed for several days so Dad could lend Stephen his expertise.

They installed two windows and even a door that locks.

In just a few short days, the treehouse transformed from a raised platform, to a house without a roof. Pretty impressive progress!

Stephen’s in the process of putting on the roof. Then he’ll add a railing and a ladder up the nearby pine tree so the kids can move in!

While Dad and Stephen slaved away on the tree fort, Mom coached me through a sewing project I had been putting off. Thanks to her help, I sewed a new canopy for the child swing our neighbors gave us last summer. I feel so accomplished!

We’re so thankful for special memories with Grammy and Grampy.
