As I look back through these pictures from our visit to West Virginia, I love seeing my boys interact with my mom, dad and sisters. The boys had lots of fun discovering all the new things at Grandma and Grandpa’s house. My dad kept bringing out toys–some I recognized and some I didn’t–for the boys to play with.
Cold visits to the park didn’t deter Cooper from having fun. He practiced walking up the steps, and both boys liked the huge sticks they could find in WV.
Of course, there’s always music at the Manka house. Silas liked “fiddling” with Grandpa, and Cooper took his turn at the piano.
Aunt Rebekah teaches K4, so she had a classroom full of toys that her nephews loved! She also saved a special Christmas craft to make with Silas. It doubled as a teaching opportunity since it included a thermometer. Silas and Aunt Rebekah took their craft outside to see the temperature change.
There were tickles with Grandma, play dough baking, coloring, and block building with Grandpa.
One of the highlights for Silas was being introduced to the old-time Superman TV show. As you can see, he was captivated.
I’m so glad Cooper and Silas could have their first Christmas with my family! Silas had such a great time that he cried as we flew out on the airplane, “I want to go to Grandma and Grandpa’s house in West Virginia!”
I’m glad you all had a good time in West Virginia, I really loved the picture when you introduced Silas to the old superman show’s at how captivated he was in it.
