Looking out the window is one of Silas’s pastimes. This morning he’s watching our neighbors across the street trim a tree. He offers them suggestions and advice through the closed window.
In the afternoons Baby is mesmerized by the neighborhood kids playing in the street. A couple times I’ve taken him outside on Thursday mornings to watch the garbage truck empty our cans at the curb.
Silas is figuring out how to stand on a step stool to see out the window a little better. The stool adds a few inches at least. My dad made this stool for me when I was tiny. Dad even inscribed my name on the bottom. So glad Baby can play with something his grandpa made.
