I still live in wonder that this little miniature human being is ours and that he’s here to stay.
Becoming a parent is a breath-taking experience. I think the words to this song help explain some of my emotions.
A ray of hope flickers in the sky
A tiny star lights up way up high
All across the land dawns a brand new morn
This comes to pass when a child is bornA silent wish sails the seven seas
The winds of change whisper in the trees
And the walls of doubt crumble tossed and torn
This comes to pass, when a child is bornA rosy hue settles all around
You start to feel, you’re on solid ground
For a spell or two no one seems forlorn
This comes to pass, when a child is born
Silas now laughs out loud and smiles in response to our smiles. He’s up to 11 lbs 1 oz and his gray blue eyes are now blue. His tiny voice is music to our ears–yes, even his cries. We are hopelessly in love with Silas Clark!
I love those pictures. I cant wait to meet Silis soon.
